Production era marketing focused on making products cheaper. The main goal of many businesses was to lower manufacturing prices. Many operators were able to either boost their overall profit or to increase their value by passing on reduced production costs to consumers. They also focused on mass producing products. The main idea of this era is "A good product will sell itself"
