Like I mentioned before, marketing is affected by time. This brings up the inevitable question, what will future marketing be like?
We can learn from the diagram on the left that as time increases, the relationship between customers and producer grow stronger. It started off as "the product will sell itself", and through time they learned that advertising and relationship greatly improves the chance of you selling a product.
As time goes on, the population will increase greatly. This forces the advertiser to target the customers as efficiently as possible, while building a relationship, either conscious or unconscious.
My prediction is that the advertisers are gonna focus on unconscious relationships. Some of the companies are already doing this on small scale. Fast food companies are very good examples of this. let me explain:

Ever wondered why fast food logos are mostly in red and yellow?
The color red and yellow are more likely to make people hungry, which means people are more likely to pull over and buy their stuff.
I predict that in the future companies will do this on a much larger scale and to a larger extent.
Shapes have been shown to unconsciously control one's mood. This may be used in insurance ads to make one feel insecure and paranoid.
Certain pitches have been shown to make people anxious. This can be used to drive large amounts of people away, and towards an ad you want them to see.

Believe it or not, the things I mentioned are extremely hard to police, or execute in court. It will be near impossible to prove that someone fired a sound wave you cannot hear. It will also be extremely easy to state in court that the shapes you used in your ad isn't meant to be paranoia introducing, therefore making you safe from all charges. Or they may be completely legal and free for anyone to use as an advertising tactic. Not only is unconscious advertising very cheap and easy to use, it can also be done on a very large scale. It has been proven to be very effective. And that is why i think this will be a future advertising tactic.
